Storyboard
A major part with creating a film is proper planning, and a part of that planning includes story boarding. The definition of a storyboard is a series of drawings used to show the planned order of events in a movie, television advertisement, etc. (Cambridge University Press & Assessment, n.d.). Although our group doesn't enjoy drawing, I took it upon myself to draw the storyboard. Even though we don't like drawing, without a storyboard it is very difficult to know what to film. It's like sending people to the moon without having a rocket. A storyboard also helps to improve the opening by showing what shots have a purpose and what shots keep the story moving. It shows exactly what you need to do when filming so that you can achieve the best film opening possible.
